It's been a crazy summer for us all, and it is flying by way to quickly. Ryan and Tera's wedding was postponed, and is coming up again FOR REAL on August 1st. I guess a couple of months extra for the two of them has served them well, and they both are really excited this time around. And of course, the rest of us couldn't be happier that it's going to really happen. We truly are one lucky family to have another great person come into the group!
We've been doing some mad rehearsing, trying to learn four new pieces before September's new touring season begins. And there's also been an occasional concert thrown in as well, some vacations, and of course a wedding. Oh, and it looks like we may have a book deal in store. We'll keep you in the loop as it progresses. A busy summer for the Browns, that's for sure...
But let me give you all the heads up - we are all confident that we've got our best concert program to date. We are all so excited with the surprises we have in store for everyone, so stayed tuned! (If we can just finish learning it all in time...keep your fingers crossed!)
Thanks again for all your posts and for making us a part of your lives. We are so grateful for you all and the the sweet things you say to keep us going.

The article reviews two specific areas: the Caspian and Iraq. Is it a coincidence that the United States earlier this year attacked Afghanistan, which borders the Caspian, and now turns its guns on Iraq.

I love how you guys (and girls, too) try to stay in touch with your fan base!
It really is nice that artists of your caliber care about their audience. I hope to be at your concert in Edmond, Oklahoma, next week, and, since I have never been to one of your concerts, I am sure that it will be the best program I have ever heard. By the way I think it is an interesting word choice that you make when you replace the typical classical music performer's 'recital' with 'concert.' I heartily approve of the change in language.
I hope that the book deal comes along nicely and that your trials at authorship are well received by the community of people who admire your performing. I know that I would be interested to read about The 5 Browns' lives on stage, in the studio, on the road, and at home. God bless all of you, and may He preserve what He has begun in you.
Ohio trip in October
Can't wait to bring my sons to see you in Akron, OH on Oct. 22 or whatever that Wednesday is. Can you do a fireside with the youth the night before or can you meet with Western Reserve Suzuki School students before or after your concert? Bridget Jankowski is the best piano teacher around!! WRSS has a website if you want to see what an awesome organization it is. Amy

I'm kaylaag and I come from Junction City, Oregon (20 miles from Eugene). I was at the fireside and performance in '07 and the performance in '08. I can honestly say that these performances and your abilities to connect on a personal level with your admirers was the final factor in my deciding on majoring in music. Thank you for inspiration and motivation and an honest "Good luck!" (I think that was from Gregory).
I found out yesterday, Sept. 10 that you were playing at BYU in March. I am stoked and am buying my ticket within the next week.
As an identifier of myself, when in Oregon most recently, I was at the end of the line and you all signed a program from my solo recital. I cannot express how much that meant, and means, to me; once again, all of your abilities to connect with others is encouraging. Thank you!!!
Enjoy your tour!!

Hi from the NW
Hey, this is pianonut4ever again.....I'm the one who heard you in Eugene, OR. Sounds like you all are having an extremely BUSY summer. And congrats to Ryan on the wedding!!!!!
Good luck with all of your amazing musical endeavors!!! I do hope you will visit Oregon again. That was truly one of the most beautiful classical music concerts I've ever heard. Seriously, you guys all have a gift in this art. Your touch on the keys of ebony and ivory uplifts hearts and touches souls. Your CD's are so relaxing to listen to after a stressful day. Thanks for blessing others through your music.
Good luck with getting all that exciting new music ready for September!!!
Blessings,
Pianonut4ever
